Rommel’s ACE Hardware Adds New Locations

Rommel’s ACE Hardware is a integral part of Rommel Holdings, Inc.  Rommel Holdings is a mid-sized holding company located in Fruitland, Maryland.  As a family held enterprise, Rommel Holdings has owned and operated a variety of businesses throughout the years, dating back to the 1950’s. 

The operation of Rommel’s ACE Hardware stores began with just a single store location in Ocean City, Maryland, that was in the year 1995.  Then in the later 1990’s an acquisition to open another Rommel’s ACE Hardware location, quickly expanded as several additional locations were opened across Maryland and Delaware.  In 2005, Rommel’s ACE Hardware opened its very first store location in the state of Virginia (Exmore).  On June 20th Rommel’s ACE Hardware held the Grand Opening of its second Virginia store location on Chincoteague Island.

Today Rommel Holdings, Inc. consists of eleven ACE Hardware stores, four Denny’s restaurants, one Uno Chicago Bar & Grill located in Fruitland, MD, a Skateland roller rink in Baltimore, MD and several commercial properties stretching from the western shore of Maryland to the eastern shore of Maryland.  Rommel Holdings, Inc. employs approximately 500 people in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
